A healthy one dish meal, ready in just few minutes when kids are hungry but you are short of time.Chili

Serves – 6
600g coarsely chopped beef
2 cans beans in tomato sauce
2 cups chopped onion
½ cup smoked BBQ sauce
1 tbsp chopped garlic
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp Ketchup
6 bay leaves
2 tsp cumin powder
1 tbsp oregano
1tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp sugar
2 tbsp of oil 

 

 

In a large pan, heat oil, and brown meat with onions, garlic and bay leaves.

Add BBQ sauce, salt, black pepper, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, cumin powder, oregano, stir to combine..
Add beans with tomato sauce, mix gently, cover and simmer 10 minutes, on very low heat.

Serve with French baguettes or corn chips.
