Day 1
Upon arrival In Mauritius you will be met at the airport by the host and driven in comfort and luxury to our beach bungalow for welcome drinks / breakfast or snacks.
Remainder of the day is for leisure. Relax, take a dip in our private pool, enjoy a sunbath, stroll around on the sandy beach or begin your exploration of the vibrant Island.

Smoked marlin salad on toast

Lesson N°2 - The dinner

Day 2
After a nice and full American breakfast. Visit the vibrant Capital of Mauritius, Port-Louis to discover its’ many faces.
Visit Caudan waterfront, a place where hustle and bustle never stops.
Visit the Blue Penny Museum – Famous for some rare birds, now extinct like our DODO – Famous for the collection of extremely rare and unique stamps some going back to 1847.
Visit the Central market of Port-Louis, the bazaar. Leisurely walk around fresh food stalls, enjoy the aroma of fresh aromatic herbs, visit the spice market, taste a variety of local snacks, taste our local “Aloudaa”, shop for souvenirs, handicrafts, get overview of our cuisine and cooking ingredients, join the chef and select your choice of vegetables and fruits to be prepared by your Chef Sandy during the course of the day, together with the evening meal.
Visit the Cathedral of Port-Louis, build in 1933, a major colonial architectural masterpieces,
Back at the villa, enjoy a dip in the pool, watch the most beautiful sunsets, and sip a glass of wine or two!

Lesson N°3 - Join Chef Sandy and prepare another feast for dinner
Papadums salads

Chicken and prawn curry seasoned with native herbs and flavors,

Day 3
After breakfast, drive to the east coast, where you will hop on a small craft to visit Touessrok “ Ile aux cerfs”, without any doubt the most reserve and the most beautiful beach in Mauritius.
Get mesmerized by this beauty, with water so pure, so clear that you will see fishes swimming around you without having to use and goggles or snorkeling equipment.
You may wish to be the next Robinson Crusoe, and live there forever.
A pure day of sea, sand, sun, sports and fun and by fun I mean lots and lots of fun.
Sports…Lots of sports, kayak, banana float, pedal boat, water skiing, wind surfing, parasailing…you name it!
Enjoy lunch in a Cabana perched on a tree.(Remember as a young kid you always wish to have your own little cabana on a tree)

Lesson N°4

Also prepare sauces & marinate sea foods, mix grills, vegetable for poolside BBQ on day 4
Day 4
After breakfast, visit the “Casela” park. This park is unique in the Indian Ocean.
You will get to see many exotic birds, and funny enough some even may try talking to you.
Chimps, monkeys, Ourang-Outangs and you name it.
Now drive south to Black river, drive to the only place in the world where you will find
“ 7 colors earth” gold, red, blue, green, black…The place is fabulous beyond belief.
Lunch is a beachside Picnic. After lunch you will drive thru magnificent mountains and sea sceneries to Le Morne Mountain, a natural monument evocative of slavery and symbolizing the fight for freedom, considered to be a world heritage by UNESCO.
Back at the villa, just in time to relax and get ready for the poolside BBQ night.
Light up the grill. Your expertise is most appreciated.
Day 5
After breakfast, now will be the time to visit center part of the Island, Rose-Hill
Visit “Arab Town” and the numerous stalls.
Visit Rose-Hill market.
Meet the botanical expert and discover the virtue of herbs and plants and the good these plants will do you body and soul.
Why not try one for the road?
Lunch: Dholl Pooris (The most famous snack of Mauritius )
Tonight is the night out, allow me surprise you with non-stop fun.
Day 6
After breakfast, it is a day at the pool, relax, swim, read or enjoy a game on our home cinema.
Prawns cocktails, salads and snacks at the pool
Lesson No.5.
“ A Feast of Mauritius”
Large varieties of curries plus many extras
Serve on banana leaves.
A meal so special,
It is only serve at Indian weddings or large functions,
This feast is not available in any restaurant or hotel.
Day 7
After breakfast, It is now time to say goodbye, but before that it time permitting.

“Moon fan”
You have by this time watched/learned how to prepare more than 30 dishes of our paradise island, so perhaps can consider your self an expert in the matter of Cuisines from Mauritius.
